Demolition

Stanley Black & Decker contracted Connecticut Explosives Company to demolish a smokestack that had been a landmark in the community for many years, but had begun to pose a public health threat. Careful attention was paid to public safety in preparation for the demolition. The 196' smokestack made a perfect landing.
